Christmas break in London

I think this has been my seventh time in London, and this time I was there with my sister for a little get-away and shopping the weekend before Christmas. It is just so much Christmas going on in this city which was amazing! Since it was her first time to London we made time for a musical, Madame Tussauds and London Eye which I all prebooked so it was just to pick up the tickets in stead of queuing.

Lion King was soo good! I have seen Dirty Dancing in London before and I’m looking forward for another musical in this city!

Covent Garden has become a must for me! My sister was very excited for the Moomin Shop and it’s so many cute little shops where you can find anything Moomin themed. There are many “hidden” beautiful streets in this area for special stops and cafés ect. (bring a map or have google translate in case you can’t find your way back). This is also for other areas of London, walking between some of the underground stations is a very good idea for discovering!

Oxford Street and shopping is exhausting and it easily take a whole day to walk in all the shops. It’s so many stores that we don’t have in Norway so that makes the excitement of shopping. And because of that I was lucky to get a few unique Christmas presents.

We were very happy that we saved London Eye for our last day as the weather forecast promised a glimt of sun and did! It was a bit foggy from we came Saturday morning and until Monday but uesday was good.

Have you been in London in December? Any tips for Christmas shopping or things for me to see next time?
