Two days after Luxembourg we were a few people going on River Cruise on the Rhinen River, and it was so good! The sun was with us for most of the trip and it was nice to be on a boat again (even though it was not at the sea).
We took the boat from Bingen and had a stop at St. Goarshausen which was nice, except the rain when we were at land. It looked prettier on the other side, in St. Goar but we had the chance to see it from across the river and also from the boat.
We also saw the Lorelei, which is a 132 m high steep rock and a lot of small castles along the river. At several places there were camping sites and many people visiting the villages. This was such a lovely day with some of my fellow students and I am so glad that I have done a river cruise as the nature around is was so beautiful!
